Our Project Pink campaign has wrapped up for the celebratory 10th year in partnership with Australian Leisure and Hospitality (ALH) Group.
The campaign launched on Mother's Day, May 14, and saw 124 venues across Australia rally together, hosting a range of events throughout May, June and July, including drag queen bingo nights, high teas, yoga sessions, family fun days and trivia nights, just to name a few!
Over the last 10 years, our longstanding Project Pink champions have embraced the campaign and raised an incredible $2.5 million for breast cancer research at the PA Hospital Campus, which has had transforming outcomes for our brightest minds in research.
Funds from the campaign this year will support several innovative breast cancer research projects, which will be announced during the 2020 PA Research Foundation Research Awards alongside the Metro South Health Support Scheme Awards in November.
ALH Group's invaluable support of Project Pink over the last 10 years has helped to raise awareness for the cause within the community, serving as a beacon of hope solidarity and for people living with breast cancer.
Thank you to all 124 of the wonderful ALH Group venues and their teams for championing Project Pink within their communities and raising crucial funds for breast cancer research again in 2019.
