The Wharf Tavern in Mooloolaba have been very busy during this year's Project Pink campaign. We caught up with Events Manager, Renata and Venue Manager, Terry recently!
What is Wharf Tavern doing to fundraise for Project Pink?
We have decorated the venue and have pink cocktails on offer with $2 going towards Project Pink. We also had the Sea N Sound Festival on Saturday 10 June, which you fundraised for on the day.
Can you guess how many KM's we are travelling on our road trip?
What is your fundraising goal this year?
$6500 to beat last years
What do you think the colour pink should represent?
Girly colour represents feminine.
Have you had an experience with breast cancer?
Yes, Terry's mother had breast cancer and Renata's mother and Nan also had forms of cancer.
What motivates you to fundraise?
To help support those families going through tough times. Our motivation is quite high given experience of cancer within the family.
Fluffy pink duck or a quacking keying, you have to pick one - which is it and why?
Keyring because it is fun and makes a quacking sound.
Where would you take the Project Pink Mobile on a road trip and why?
The Wharf Tavern of course! It's a great tourist area.
You can visit the Wharf Tavern to support their fundraising. Check our their website: www.wharftavern.com.au/
