The Pink Road Trip ventured to the golden sands of Surfers Paradise to pop in and see the team at Surfers Paradise Tavern. We caught up with Functions Manager, Emily to hear what they are up to during Project Pink!
What is Surfers Paradise Tavern doing to fundraise for Project Pink?
We have already raised $800 since mother's day through raffles. At the weekends we are selling pink jelly shots with $1 from each sale going towards Project Pink. Woolworths is located below us and are providing pink cakes to sell for our pink it up nights every Friday. We also have 2 footy jerseys to raffle off at $5 per ticket - we are selling these each weekend.
Can you guess how many KM's we are travelling on our Road Trip?
What is your fundraising goal this year?
Have you had an experience with breast cancer?
No, however our manager's Grandmother had breast cancer and survived.
Fluffy pink duck or a quacking duck keyring, you have to pink one - which is it and why?
Pink keyring because the light is great to help see at night.
You can visit Surfers Paradise Tavern during the Project Pink campaign to support their fundraising. Check out their website for further venue information: www.surfersbeergarden.com.au/
